Romeo Santos has done it again, ladies and gentlemen! This time in New York City at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
How so? The bachata crooner has left his mark at the 88th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday morning, becoming the first bachata singer to present at the traditional event.

At almost 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time, following the Pikachu balloon and the New York Police Department’s marching band, came Romeo Santos, looking handsome as always.
“Building a huge name for himself, heâs one of the Big Appleâs native stars and Latinâs top charting artist of the year singing ‘Eres Mia,’” announced NBC’s Al Roker. “Here is the ‘King of Bachata,’ Romeo Santos.”
And there he was, in a vibrant float that represented the Big Apple and its tall buildings, singing his latest single “Eres Mia.” Not even the impromptu snow stopped the GRAMMY-nominated singer from flaunting his swag in front of countless of people, all while rocking a golden mic.
Following his short-but-sweet presentation, Santos’ manager Johnny Marines reached to social media to express his gratitude.
“I want to thank everyone who has supported @romeosantos and as we continue to take Bachata to levels never ever foreseen. I remember the early days when people used to straight up play us but we never lost focus on what our mission was and here we are today! Happy Thanksgiving! #RomeoMacysparade #RomeoSantos”

We agree, and in our eyes, there’s no better way to kick off the Thanksgiving festivities than with Romeo Santos crooning us all from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
His fans, sweetly referred to as “Romeistas” by the singer, also went ballistic on Twitter following his quick performance.
