Prior to its global debut, Martin prepared and teased fans on what to expect by posting video teasers and snapshots of the production, using the label #AdiosVideo.

The concept of the video, filmed in a Los Angeles, Calif. tavern, traces back to the 1930s. In it, Martin portrays five different roles: policeman, bartender, bodyguard, gangster and singer ?oh la la!

He is also accompanied by dancers from the musical revue “The Harlow Gold Show,” which pays tribute to exploration, the female form and burlesque.

“Adiós” is Martin’s latest single making the rounds on the radio stations. It’s also the first single of his forthcoming album expected to be released at the beginning of 2015 by Sony Music Latin.

“We chose ‘Adiós’ because it represents who I am today. The title is a reference to the opening of another cycle,” Martin said of the upbeat record.

The single, which premiered in both Spanish and English on September 22nd, is produced by Jesse Shatkin (responsible for Sia’s popular song “Chandelier”), Yotuel Romero, Antonio Rayo, and Ricky Martin.
