Thompson Hine Continues Lateral Growth; Adds Corporate Partner David Watson in Cleveland
Watson Joins as Fourth Lateral Partner in 2016
CLEVELAND–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Thompson
Hine LLP is pleased to announce that David D. Watson has joined the
firm’s Corporate Transactions & Securities practice as a partner in
Cleveland. Watson comes from McDonald Hopkins LLC, where he has served
as the co-chair of the business transactions practice group.
Watson is the fourth lateral partner to join Thompson Hine this year,
following last month’s expansion of its New York office with the
addition of Timothy
J. McCarthy and Louis M. Solomon to the Business Litigation practice
and Jonathan
A. Olick to the Real Estate practice.
Watson has substantial experience in transactional and general corporate
law, including acquisition and disposition of businesses, both in the
ordinary course and in bankruptcy; organization, operation and
disposition of partnerships, limited liability companies and joint
ventures; private company planning and counseling; resolution of private
shareholder disputes; and counseling clients on day-to-day business
matters.
