Like father, like son…an exemplary dad always knows how to be a great role model. Being a father under the public eye, however, can be quite hectic and challenging.
Some famous fathers knew how balance both worlds, all while raising their kids the right way, resulting in their mini-me’s following their footsteps.

1. Julio Iglesias and Enrique Iglesias

With hit-songs such as “Bailando,” “Hero” and “I Like It,” Enrique Iglesias is a much loved artist in the music world.
The 37-year-old star from Spain gets his good looks and talents from his father, Julio Iglesias, who was once the it star in the 70s and 80s.
Though their busy schedule prevents both stars to see each other, their father and son bond is very much in tact. Julio is known around the world as the most successful Latin artist of all times, will Enrique follow his legacy?
2. Vicente Fernandez and Alejandro Fernandez

One father and son who are very close off-stage and on-stage are father Vicente Fernandez and son Alejandro Fernandez.
Unlike Julio and Enrique, who sing different genres, both Fernandez’s have gone the mariachi’s route, staying true to their Mexican roots. Alejandro, though, is also known for singing romantic ballads.
3. Antonio Aguilar and Pepe Aguilar

The late Antonio Aguilar, a Mexican singer, actor and producer, known as “El Charro de Mexico” left a great legacy behind when he passed away at age 89 in 2007.

One of his six children is Jose “Pepe” Aguilar, who is among Mexico’s most popular modern singers.
4. Martin Sheen and Charlie Sheen

Actor Martin Sheen is father to the very controversial TV actor Charlie Sheen. Both stars changed their names when they hit Hollywood.
Martin Sheen,73, was born Ramon Antonio Gerardo Estevez and 48-year-old Charlie, was born Carlos Irwin Estevez. Unless you lived under a rock, this family is of Spanish descent.
The Sheens have a very close relationship. Martin was next to his son when he was battling his drug issues.
5. Manuel “El Loco” Valdes and Cristian Castro
Manuel “El Loco” Valdes, 83, is a Mexican actor and comedian. His brother’s are also renowned comedians, Ramon Valdes (a.k.a Don Ramon on “El Chavo del 8″) and German Valdez (a.k.a Tin Tan).
His famous son is a funny guy also, but on Twitter. On the other hand, Mexican artist Cristian Castro is one great and popular Latin pop singer.
