Thalia and Ricky Martin have many things in common: They’re both singers, actors, designers and Latino icons of the ’90s. It just so happens, they have another similarity to add to the plate, as both stars have been incited to form part of a new flick.

It’s been revealed that both Latino superstars will star in the upcoming installment of the animated film “Minions.”

Their task sounds fun and will come natural to them, as they take two of the main roles doing the Latin American voices in the forthcoming children’s and family film.

“Latin artists of great international renown are joining this successful franchise to lend their voices to two of the primary characters in the film,” said the film’s promoters of Thalia and Martin, according to EFE.

The Mexican songstress will portray the voice ofScarlet Overkill, the world’s first villain super woman; whereas, the Puerto Rican superstar will voice her husband, Herb Overkill.

As part of the Latin American star cast, these artists will be accompanied by other voices such as that of Irene Azuela and Alfonso Herrera, among others.

For those who are not aware of these cute, friendly and dizzy characters, the “minions” are small, yellow creatures who have existed since the beginning of time, evolving from single-celled organisms into beings who have only one purpose: to serve history’s most despicable masters.
