This is part of a four-day trip through California that the White House announced last week.

After spending some of his day in San Francisco, Obama will land in Palm Springs on February 14th, according to Eric Schultz, the principal deputy White House press secretary.

The president will spend that night in the resort desert town, that much has been confirmed. However his office didn’t specify how much longer President Obama would remain in the Coachella Valley.

The president is well known at the famed Rancho Mirage estate, having previously stayed there twice before. However, a spokesman for Sunnylands could not confirm that he would be there this week for the President’s Day holiday.

Though Obama has never campaigned in the Coachella Valley, this will be his fourth trip in less then two years. He also never made any trips there his first term in office. Recently Republican would-be nominees for the 2016 presidential elections made a stop in Palm Springs to talk to supporters.

Obama always seems to enjoy the warm climate and luxurious golf courses. It is unknown who will accompany Obama on this trip, because the White House will not release any information on it, but if previous years are any indication, Obama will most likely be found playing golf with childhood friends Bobby Titcomb, Greg Orme and Michael Ramos.

Obama will start his trip on Friday in Palo Alto where he is scheduled to speak at the Summit on Cybersecurity and Consumer Protection at the Stanford University. Afterward, he will attend a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in San Francisco, where he’ll stay overnight before flying to Palm Springs Saturday.
