“She returned home soon after and is feeling much better today,” Lovato’s rep told E! News.

The 22-year-old Latina star has been very open about her health issues in the past. She has spent time in rehab to combat eating disorders and depression, but feels that it’s important that she is honest with her fans.

After admitting to Fitness magazine in December that she had almost checked back into rehab for her struggles with food, Lovato said that she has been doing much better with her eating disorder.

“I’ve learned to appreciate my body for what it is,” she said. “It helps to remind myself of how far I’ve come.”

Throughout her health struggles over the years, Lovato’s fans have remained steadfastly supportive, and now they have once again proven that the young pop star has one of the most dedicated fan bases in the entertainment world.

Lovato’s fans (also known as Lovatics) threw Twitter into a tizzy when they heard about the singer’s health scare.
