The race is on for Shakira and Cristiano Ronaldo, because both celebrities are going head-to-head for the title of “most-liked” on Facebook.
However, the Colombian singer should get her game going because guess what? Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo just nabbed her world-breaking title.

In 2014, Guinness World Records confirmed and released on their website that Shakira had set a new social media record after becoming the first person to reach 100 million likes on Facebook.
Fast forward to not even a year later and now Ronaldo has gained Facebook royalty status.
This is where both stars currently stand with their likes ok the social media platform: Shakira with 107,083,616 likes vs. Ronaldo with 107,132,042 likes.
Those whopping numbers increase on a daily basis, so there’s still time for Shak snatch her crown.
