Chicago-based Paradise 4 Paws will assume operations of all 10 Pooch
CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Paradise 4 Paws, which operates four premier pet resorts for dogs and
cats, and Petco, leading pet specialty retailer, announced today that
Paradise 4 Paws will assume the operations and management of Petco’s
Pooch Hotel brand and its properties, including all 10 locations across
the U.S., effective March 1, 2016.
Pooch Hotel, first opened in 2004 and acquired by Petco in 2011, is a
luxury boarding and daycare destination for dogs that provides an
interactive and enriching day and overnight care experience for pets,
including on-site grooming, spa and dog training services. Today, there
are 10 Pooch Hotel destinations in California, Connecticut, Illinois,
Massachusetts and Texas. Paradise 4 Paws will assume operations for all
10 Pooch Hotel locations in addition to their four existing Paradise 4
Paws locations near Chicago Midway Airport and O’Hare Airport, and at
Dallas Fort Worth Airport and Denver International Airport, with another
set to open at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport later

The business will be headquartered in Chicago and operate under both the
Pooch Hotel and Paradise 4 Paws brand names. Services for both entities
will remain the same and include premium dog boarding, social doggie

Together, they will provide the most exceptional menu of amenities and
services, convenience of location throughout the country for local and
traveling pet parents, and unparalleled trust and care for their clients
and their pets.
Amenities at each location differ slightly but both Pooch Hotels and
Paradise 4 Paws Resorts offer large play areas, webcams, plush suites
with en suite TV, pooch styling salons, as well as on-site certified
veterinary technicians and dog trainers. All provide a safe, engaging
and fun environment for pets.
