Roberto Gomez Bolaños, known around the world for his popular television roles as “Chespirito” and “El Chavo del 8,” is in delicate health conditions.
A close source to Bolaños said that he is in critical but stable condition, doctors report, according to many media outlets.

Despite his stability, doctors also informed his family that there is no hope of recovery for the 85-year-old Mexican actor.
Also telling them to “prepare for the worst,” revealed the close source to the news publication BASTA!, according to Univision.
His son, Roberto Gomez Fernandez, stated a while back that his father has lost mobility.
“My father is fine but with a greater difficulty in moving,” Fernandez said.
Bolaños has been suffering from respiratory problems since November as result of decades of smoking.
He is most famously known for his popular characters on Mexican television shows such as Dr. Chapatin, Chespirito, El Chapulin Colorado and El Chavo del 8.
