“Love life: no regrets and kids” is Switzerland’s new raunchy safe sex ad campaign, being promoted by the Swiss AIDS Federation; it promotes safe sex by, well, promoting the joys of sex.

The campaign doesn’t beat around the bush when showing sex in it’s full splendor, and it’s even got it’s own manifesto online for people who follow their “it’s all about joie de vivre and worry-free sex,” mantra.

A quick visit to their site, which is published in several languages, will show you part of the mantra: “I live as I please and love whomever I want. After all, I only have one life. It’s up to me whether I enjoy it or not. I make my own choices and take responsibility for them.”

The campaign is published in 13 languages to be exact, including German, Turkish and Spanish.

The campaign features real-life straight and gay couples selected by the creators of the campaign enjoying sex responsibly in NSFW video vignettes set to the rhythm of Edith Piaf’s “Je ne regrette rien.”

The video short promotes the transmission of HIV and other STD’s through the use of condoms and targets couples of all ages and sexual orientations. The public health department has left nothing to the imagination, except the actors’ clothing.

Another part of their manifesto reads: To enjoy life, I need my body. I protect it from sexually transmitted infections like HIV: if I’m single, cheat on my partner or if a relationship has just ended, I use condoms and play by the safer sex rules. In a faithful relationship, after getting ourselves tested, we can stop using condoms.”

The department of health stated the objective of the campaign is to promote a free lifestyle that includes pleasure and enjoying responsibly.

What do you think? Just what we need to see in the US, or a bit much for a safe sex campaign?
