Before the month is out a new Miss Universe will be crowned, and the reigning beauty queen, Gabriela Berrios will no longer hold the title of “most beautiful woman in the universe.” While the Puerto Rican beauty will have to give up her station, she indicated to the media she will continue in her humanitarian efforts and her personal health goals. For some reason my family genetically is a little chubby an can gain weight easily. I made the decision to change. I lost over 60 pounds and went from a size 14 to a size 2. Thanks to motivation and the experiences I had in my life, I was able to go after my dreams.” Gabriela Berrios credits her weightloss and toned figure to running and an emerging fitness program named  Xco Latin Workout. The exercise routine is the brain child of trainer Jackie Rodriguez, who wanted to share her weight loss success post-childbirth with other women. Jackie’s workout combines Latin rhythms and movements with light weight training to help clients tone as they burn calories more efficiently. According to the website, the Xco Latin Workout is a full-body workout with special attention placed on the arms and core, and the program claims to help people burn 33 percent mroe calories than they would in traditional cardio workouts.
